Portability might not seem like an obvious plus point for a Blu-ray player, but Panasonic's first attempt at such a beast is mostly very successful, despite its hefty price tag.
At 256x59x202mm and 1.7kg it's hardly pocket size, but it's swivelling screen folds up neatly into a compact package that's easy to shift from living room to kitchen or bedroom, or even take it along as an electric nanny for the car (it's powered by batteries or it can run on the charge from the cigarette lighter).
