The web has won – it's official. Everyone pack up your stuff, all your 'killer apps' and go home, there's nothing to see here.
That was the gist of design consultant Eric Meyer's keynote speech at the first ever Build conference in Belfast yesterday.
With the simple tagline "building a better web", Build brought together some of web's big hitters in the form of Eric Meyer, EveryBlock's Wilson Miner, Ryan Sims of Virb and Andy Budd of Clearleft to speak to a 300-strong crowd at the Waterfront Studio.
