We're here at Apple's education-flavored event at the Guggenheim museum in New York City.
Phil Schiller has taken to the stage and announced that Apple's "reinventing the textbook" by launching iBooks 2. There are 1.5 million iPads currently in use in educational programs and 20,000 educational apps available for the platform, which prompted development of the new app.
