SOLD SORRY: Californian Import Restored 1966 Split Screen Camper 11 window split screen camper for sale including 6 new pop out safari windows in cream and turkis green. This car has been loving restored and has had a lot of time, money and love spent on it by a real VW enthusiast.

The engine is a 1600 engine and has had a complete gearbox overhaul as well as new brakes all round and polly mounts. The chassis is solid and the outriggers have been waxed and oiled. The chassis has been treated with hammerite and rubber sealed. The van has all new wirings and electrics and has lowered rear suspension and new dropped spindals on the front. There are also new gas shocks all round.

The wheels are Empi 5 alloys and have been powder coated with polished rims. The van has full deluxe trim and comes with a complete new interior including front cream leather seats and a rock n roll bed. Panels and interior headlining have all been professional fitted to an exceptionally high standard by well known VW restoration company Spirit of the 50’s based in Sutton Coldfield (see www.spiritofthe50s.co.uk for more information on them). The interior furniture has been replaced to include new cupboards, sink, cooker and a fitted bar with optics and custom made dash knobs.

The old steering wheel has been replaced with a new banjo steering wheel to complete the restored and immaculate interior. The camper has been regularly seen at VW shows around the UK and won awards for its condition and this is reflected in a fair asking price for the car which is open to sensible offers as I am moving onto my next restoration project. The paintwork is in good condition but would benefit from a re-spray in a few years time. Millage: 87000 but only done 1000 on new engine. All receipts for parts and labour.
